Roxx E & her 4 puppies, exhausted
Roxx E started giving birth at 12:30, just after lunch. She finished at about 6:30 pm. That was a hard 6 hours for her, she was exhausted, but did a great job!
Sherryl & Suzie helped!
Sherryl & I had a Hospice staff meeting @ 1:00-3:30 pm. So I took phone calls every hour with the report of a new puppy - Josiah kept us updated. Dan was the rescuer of the 3rd puppy, helping pull the sack off the face and helping him breathe. Don was documenting it all and popping his head in saying “I think you all have it under control.”
When we got back, we jumped in to help with the delivery of the 4th.
A little stretch in the hand from one of the other males I call "WARRIOR" because he is the biggest and has a shield on his chest.
“Chick” our only female of the 4, and the first born. A little queenie!
"Pad Foot" is the smallest, only 4 oz and Josiah's favorite!
